리더는 뒤에서 부하를 내모는 게 아니라
앞장서 솔선수범함으로써 동참을 이끌어 내야 합니다.
리더가 헌신하지 않는 일에 부하가 헌신할 리 없으며,
열정을 갖지 않은 리더가 부하에게 열정을 요구할 수는 없습니다.
본인이 바른길을 가지 않으면서 부하에게 올바름을 요구할 수는
더더욱 없음을 명심해야 합니다.

Leaders do not stand behind and force their subordinates to work,
but take the initiative to inspire their workers and lead by example.
A leader cannot expect devotion or passion from their subordinates
when they themselves do not display such qualities.
Thus, bosses cannot expect their subordinates to do or feel something they themselves do not do or feel.
